and various cancers, in the latest research. Moreover, it will indicate directions
for future research that will allow for a better understanding of the role of this
compound. In conclusion, a diet rich in lycopene demonstrates potential in
preventing and mitigating the severity of various civilization diseases. Therefore,
the article describes a current review of research and literature in this area of
knowledge. The studies presented in this article show the potential of prevention
