Atypical pattern of Scimitar Syndrome

ABSTRACT

A 74-year-old female with a recent diagnosis of hypertension (HTN), Presented with shortness of breathe and cough for 3 days. After a series of investigations, the patient was proved to be a case of atypical pattern of Scimitar Syndrome. Scimitar Syndrome itself is a rare syndrome, especially in 74 years who has only recurrent chest infections. The findings of multiple cystic lesions which has no clear association but it can influence other physicians who encountered the same cases with coincidence findings of multiple cystic lesions, to report the case and to know if there is a co-relation between Scimitar Syndrome and other similar conditions findings.
