Discovery Proteins is an international peer-reviewed publication passionate about publishing the “protein science” subject categories of Food Science and Biochemistry, Genetics & Molecular Biology. The Open Access title Discovery Proteins publishes research and reviews in emerging areas of Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Cell biology, Developmental biology, Endocrinology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, structural biology, and Food science to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.
The journal choosing the article belongs to “protein science,” which includes Food Science and Biochemistry, Genetics & Molecular Biology.
Discovery Proteins employs a double-blind peer review process, in which the author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. The journal's Editorial Board will immediately screen all articles submitted for publication in that journal.
Manuscripts have to be double-spaced with one-inch margins. Headings must be used to designate the major divisions of the paper. To facilitate the review process, manuscripts should contain page and line numbering. Manuscripts must be written in English. Authors whose native language is not English are strongly advised to have their manuscript checked by a language editing service, or by an English mother-tongue colleague prior to submission. As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off the Submission Preparation Checklist, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
